Art therapy services to support mainly Indigenous children with mental health issues. Owned and operated by an art therapist of Indigenous descent, the art therapist works on 4 reserves (in schools and health centers) in Cape Breton. Grounded Journey Art therapy seeks to decolonize the practice of art therapy and support people in a child centered trauma informed approach to healing through art.
